General Rules

  • Barbless hooks only (maximum size 12).
  • Minimum hook length of 4 inches.
  • All feeders must be free-running.
  • All anglers must have and use unhooking mats unless using a seat box.
  • Pole Length: Maximum allowed pole length is 14.5 meters.
  • Under 16s: All under-16s must be accompanied by an adult at all times.
  • All feeders must be free-running.
  • Day tickets must be purchased from the Tackle Shop Prior to fishing.
  • All anglers must hold an unto date fishing licence
  • No braid or hybrid lines are allowed—single strand monofilament nylon only.

Nets & Weighting

  • All nets must be dipped prior to and after fishing
  • Keepnets in matches only
  • 70lb maximum in nets
  • Anglers will be knocked back to 70lb if over limit
  • No limit if 5 nets used in a match

Bait Guidelines

  • Pole Length: Maximum allowed pole length is 14.5 meters.
  • No artificial baits
  • No seeds including Hemp ( sweetcorn only)
  • Unhooking Mats: Anglers must have and use unhooking mats. Pleasure anglers should unhook all fish on a mat unless using a seat box.
  • Bait Restrictions: Floating baits are not allowed, and seafood baits are prohibited.
  • No floating baits
  • No seafood baits (mussels, prawns etc)
  • No bread , except punched bread - 1st November - 1st April

Behaviour & Etiquette

All visitors to our site must behave in a manner conducive to the general comfort of other guests.

  • All under 16s must be accompanied by a parent or carer at all times.
  • All customers must use the on site toilets.
  • No night fishing
  • All day visitors must leave the site by the time indicated on the welcome signs.
  • All litter must be disposed of in the bin provided or taken away.
